The cultural heritage of India
For centuries, these instruments are part of the artistic and cultural heritage of India, a fact that the Asian country wants to claim with a novel exhibition on these objects. The exhibition 'Hookah in Indian art and culture', composed of different elements of ancient hookahs never before exposed, opened its doors to the public in the National Museum of New Delhi to show its visitors tubes, bases and nozzles made of metal, glass or marble, among other materials.
